A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 3 "Wool"

Jordan Shoes 2017 kicked off in 1985, but to many, the Air Jordan 3 is what started the line of greatness. In so many ways, the Air Jordan 3 was a first in footwear. The Jordan 3 was the first Air Jordan designed by famed and legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield when it hit Michael Jordan’s feet for the 1987-88 season. While we saw high-top and low-top versions of the Air Jordan signature shoe in the first two models, the Air Jordan 3 was the first mid-top basketball shoe. The mid-top design allowed for greater flexibility than the high-tops, but provided the right amount of stability for the 6? 6? basketball prodigy. Other firsts that the Air Jordan 3 highlight are the first Air Jordan to sport the famous Jumpman logo and the first with a visible Nike Air unit.
Nike Air Jordan 2017 been buzz around the social media channels of a potential pack release by renowned sneaker retailer atmos consisting of the Air Max 1 “Elephant” and what looks to be a “Safari”-inspired Air Jordan 3. As most of you might already know, the Air Max 1 atmos “Elephant” was the winner by vote from Nike’s “Vote Back” contest — the model will be released on Air Max Day, March 26.For OG sneakerheads, the atmos Air Max 1 “Safari” made its debut in 2002, only to be re-released in 2016. It’s definitely interesting to see the theme applied on a pair of Air Jordans, leading us to believe that atmos is really upping its game for Air Max Day.This Air Jordan 3 is an original colorway and is highlight sought after. First released in 1998, we saw the first retro take place in 1994. In 2001 we saw them release again which was the last time they featured Nike Air on the heel.
Latest Jordans 2017 had the chance to purchase once again in 2008 which was apart of the Countdown Pack. The last time this model released was in 2011.Not only was the Air Jordan 3 apart of the Hurricane Katrina Collection but many others. However for 2017, Jordan Brand will release them this time in Quickstrike form while featuring Nike Air on the heel.Jordan Brand originally produced the rare sample of this Air Jordan 3 back in 2006. The overall look is similar that of the ‘Fire Red’ and ‘Cement’ Air Jordan 3.For 2017, they will come with the traditional White and Red theme. Featuring White across the leather uppers, Red will be used on part of the midsole, liner and branding. In addition we will have elephant print around the toe and heel while Grey covers the outsole. Finishing the look will be Nike Air branding on the heel.
