Simple rule for working out to build your body: Fewer reps with heavier weight will build more muscle mass. Focus on the area that you desire to increase mass in and do not divert from that region. Warm up by lifting lighter, easier to lift weights. Your warm-up weight should be light enough that you can lift it 15 to 20 times.
